Redwork Bling

This week the Wild Card Wednesday Challenge on Club Anya was to create a card inspired by redwork embroidery.  Since red happens to be my favorite color I was happy to take on this challenge.  I stamped The Greeting Farm's Dahlia in red craft ink then sprinkled on the red glitter embossing powder.  After that was heat set I colored the border with a red Copic marker.  Then added some Xmas Red Stickles.  While that was drying I embossed the white card stock with my swiss dots embossing folder.  I also stamped the swirls on Real Red using my Versamark pad.  Then I sprinkled on the white embossing powder and heat set that.  I just had to add some bling to a very simple style.  LOL  I hope you enjoy!
